Professional Bio

Jordan came to be the lead campaign planner, story-wrangler and advocate for the local movement in 2015 after spending 7 years in the full-service marketing agency world. Having worked mostly with nonprofit clients in digital marketing and account management roles, she jumped at the chance to put her passion and skill sets to work for Lowcountry Local First — an organization she had followed since moving from Raleigh, North Carolina in 2008. She believes in the power of local-indie businesses to shape a place and drive community wealth and connectivity. She believes in an inclusive economy that works for all, and sees policy as a tool to ensure the economic landscape serves those rooted in this place.

Jordan has served on the boards of directors for Compass Collegiate Academy, Charleston Moves, and Charleston American Marketing Association. In 2024, she completed the Fred R. Sheheen Nonprofit Leadership Institute at Francis Marion University.

When not working, you can find Jordan dining at Odd Duck, Holy City Brewery, shopping at Roadside Blooms and The Station Park Circle, or trying to steal the lemurs from Bee City Zoo. You'll also find her enjoying time with her daughter, adventuring outdoors or listening to her husband perform spoken word.
