Eat Drink Local Season 2024
Eat Drink Local Season (April - June) is Lowcountry Local First's annual effort to focus attention on local growers, fishers, restaurants, bakers and beverage providers while providing fun and educational opportunities for our community to actively engage in eating and drinking what's in season. Join us for these community events and activities that directly connect you with the farmers, restaurants, businesses and organizations that make the Lowcountry a one-of-a-kind place to live, eat and drink!
16th annual Chef's Potluck
Sunday, June 2, 2024, 4 - 7 pm
The Porter Room at Holy City Brewery

One of the most popular fundraising events of the year, the 16th annual Chef’s Potluck takes place at the beautiful, marsh-side Porter Room at Holy City Brewery in North Charleston. More than 15 participating local chefs will work with local farmers, fishermen and ranchers to bring attendees the freshest, local ingredients the Lowcountry has to offer!
Tickets are all inclusive. Enjoy live music, local libations, tastings from each chef, and the beautiful views. Kids 12 and under are free!
Eat Drink Local Challenge: Make the Shift
April - June
The Eat Drink Local Challenge asks that you commit to shifting $10 or more of your weekly food and beverage spending towards local sources. By signing the Pledge, we'll guide you on where to find the freshest ingredients, highlight participating restaurants, suggest places to grab a local libation, feature easy recipes, connect you with local farmers and CSAs and more!

Join us for the Eat Drink Local Season Local Social and build relationships that matter! Mingle with like-minded entrepreneurs while learning about all of the local farmers, purveyors and food & beverage providers the Lowcountry has to offer.

CommonGround Documentary Screening & Conversation
Gather during Lowcountry Earth Week to learn about the global impacts that regenerative agriculture and soil health can have on our planet’s wellbeing. The CommonGround screening will include a special conversation with local experts. Suggestion donation of $10
Lowcountry Farmers' Markets & CSAs
Celebrate the abundant growing season in the Lowcountry by visiting one of the many vibrant farmers markets throughout the region or signing up for a CSA to have fresh, local produce delivered to your door!
