Now enrolling for the Fall 2026 Community Business Academy.
The Community Business Academy (CBA) is a 13-week course offering hands-on training in business planning and management.
The 2026 fall cohort, hosted at the Culinary Institute of Charleston, will focus on the fundamentals of launching and running a food-based business. The program will be led by seasoned industry professional Rashunda Grant of the Carolina Cookery. While the curriculum highlights food entrepreneurship, individuals from all industries are encouraged to apply, as the core business principles are broadly applicable.

Fall CBA classes will begin August 19, 2026 and will be held once a week on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m at The Culinary Institute of Charleston (Trident Technical College’s Thornley Campus, Building 920, 7000 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
Deadline to apply is August 9th, 2026.
Space is limited. Scholarships are available. All experience levels welcomed.
