Hi, I’m Alex Brewer, the film photographer and painter behind ABCreative. I’m based in Charleston, SC, and I love chasing those little flashes of joy that most people walk right past. If an idea can’t be captured on film, I’m equally passionate about putting brush to paper.

My photography is all about small details, whether it’s the way sunlight hits a building, the quiet chaos of a farmers market, or the quirks that make people so uniquely themselves. Film slows me down, makes me pay attention, and helps me find the beauty in moments that could’ve been missed. The photos I take often inspire my paintings, bringing to life the vibrant, colorful details in the otherwise mundane that often go unnoticed.

At the end of the day, I just want my work to make people pause, smile, and maybe even notice the small joys in their own lives that are worth celebrating.
