I for Italia is a Charleston-based boutique tour operator dedicated to crafting bespoke, authentic travel experiences throughout Italy for private clients and small groups. We specialize in highly personalized journeys that go beyond traditional tourism — offering immersive access to Italy’s culture, cuisine, wine, history, and local traditions through carefully curated, one-of-a-kind itineraries.
Our primary focus is designing tailor-made travel for travelers seeking meaningful, intimate experiences. From private wine tastings with renowned producers to behind-the-scenes culinary experiences and exclusive cultural access, every program is thoughtfully designed around each client’s interests.
In addition to our private travel services, we are deeply committed to our local community. We host regular, local, interactive, and educational events in the Charleston area, sharing our passion for our native country. We develop educational and enrichment Italy travel programs for local organizations, including LLI communities, painting schools, and cultural institutions, bringing Italy’s art, food, wine, and regional heritage to audiences here in Charleston.
We also design highly specialized wine and food programs for private and small groups, combining expert-led tastings, regional immersion, and direct connections with artisans and producers.
Founded by a born-and-raised Italian who has proudly called Charleston home since 2021, I for Italia bridges authentic Italian heritage with meaningful local connections — creating experiences that are both deeply personal and culturally enriching.
