Celebrating Fatima's fully funded Kiva loan!
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our Invest Local Intiative! Fatima Seabrook, a Community Business Academy Graduate (Spring 2023), former LLF staff member, and passionate founder of Alchemy Aerial Arts, has successfully reached her goal — her Kiva loan of $15,000 has now been fully funded thanks to the support of lenders around the world.
Fatima’s journey began with a powerful belief: movement can be a source of healing, empowerment, and confidence for people of all backgrounds. Inspired by her own experiences with pole and aerial arts, she set out to create a space where others could discover strength, creativity, and community.
With this fully funded loan, Fatima is now ready to open the doors to a brick-and-mortar studio in North Charleston, bringing Alchemy to life where individuals can explore aerial yoga, pole dance, floorwork, and other movement arts in a supportive environment.
