Jordan believes deeply in the power of local-independent businesses to shape a place and to drive community wealth and connection. She believes that an economy should work for all, and sees policy as a tool to ensure the economic landscape serves those rooted in this place. Jordan became Director of Advocacy & Communications for Lowcountry Local First in 2024 after serving 8 years as Director of Marketing for the organization and 7 years directing accounts at marketing and public relations firms.

Jordan currently serves as co-chair for a nationwide Small Business Rising coalition of the Institute of Local Self-Reliance, and on the leadership team for a statewide Advocacy Allies network of TogetherSC. In 2026, she was invited to sit on an Advisory Committee for the region's Lowcountry Rapid Transit project, where she will bring her small business anti-displacement lens to the transit-oriented development planning efforts.

In 2025, Jordan participated in a working group of nationwide advocates examining commercial tenant rights led by the Small Business Anti Displacement Network. In 2024, she completed the Fred R. Sheheen Nonprofit Leadership Institute at Francis Marion University. She formerly served on the boards of directors for two Charleston-based nonprofit organizations, Compass Collegiate Academy and Charleston Moves.

When not working, you can find Jordan shopping and dining local around her Park Circle neighborhood, or enjoying time outdoors with her daughter and husband.
