Kate Schmieding

Kate Schmieding is the Director of People + Impact at Obviouslee, a full-scale, strategic marketing company that creates great work for great people while having fun doing it. With more than 20+ years of experience in communications, corporate responsibility, and most importantly, people, Kate is passionate about being a catalyst for positive change believing that it's critically important to do better for ourselves, each other, and the world. Kate currently serves as a board member for Lowcountry Local First and served on the board of the Charleston Surfrider Foundation for 10 years being honored with the organization's Wavemaker Award which recognizes individuals working tirelessly to protect our coast. Kate enjoys all things outdoors but spends most of her time fly fishing, surfing, and exploring with her husband and dog.
