About Samantha:
Hi, My name is Samantha Aggeles and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Charleston, South Carolina.
I have lived in Charleston for over 15 years and have a diverse background working for various social services. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as the founder and director of a local non-profit that focused on asset-based community development in the Eastside neighborhood of the peninsula. It was through this work that I learned my passion for social justice, community development, and utilizing the integration of psychology and theology to empower individuals toward emotional and spiritual healing.
I am trained in EMDR, CBT, and DBT modalities and offer Christian counseling upon request. Regardless of your religion, sex, gender, race, ethnicity, ability or other orientation, I am dedicated to providing therapeutic services based on your goals and personal strengths so that you may be empowered to live your most authentic life with vulnerability and courage.
