This week, our team had the privilege of spending the day with the incredible crew at Coastal Cattle Company in Summerville — learning firsthand about pasture-raised beef, regenerative farming, and responsible land stewardship.
Locally owned and operated, Coastal Cattle Company produces 100% natural, grass-fed, hormone-free beef and raw local honey — a true reflection of quality and care from start to finish. Their commitment to sustainable practices and whole-cow processing ensures that every product they offer, from filet and brisket to sausages and burgers, is both premium and ethically sourced.
As we toured the lush pastures, we were greeted by curious cows, friendly donkeys, and even a few irresistible mini Highland cows. Touring the land gave us a vivid reminder of the dedication and heart that goes into every aspect of local food production.
To complete the experience, owners Chad and Melissa welcomed us into their home for a delicious farm-to-table lunch prepared by Chef Ali Eats, featuring their signature beef and sausage. The meal — and the hospitality — captured everything we love about supporting local.
