Posted By: Jordan Amaker Advocacy Updates, General News,

Below are things you should know or take action on right now as a local-independent business owner or community leader:

  • Union Pier BAR Planning Commission special meeting on Union Pier: June 7, 5 p.m.
    • The public is encouraged to attend the meeting in person to speak in order for comments to be fully heard. Written comments must be submitted by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6. Questions or comments? Let us know.

  • June 1 kicks off Hurricane Season (June 1 - Nov 30). We’re focused on helping you best prepare for and recover from hurricane season and potential flood events throughout the year. We've gathered a list of resources to help you prepare and get back on track should you experience flooding or damage after a storm.

  • Member Resource: Local Expertise Exchange, a curated network of “experts” in a variety of business service fields who are willing and glad to give of their time to their fellow local business owners and managers to give a bit of complimentary and confidential guidance. Learn more and get involved.
